I was initially skeptical about the high price and the fact that the tub is inflatable, but since the day it arrived, I've been thoroughly impressed. The customer service from Coldture Wellness is outstanding. Truly the best I've experienced. The Classic Cold Plunge Tub Bundle has exceeded my expectations. I've been using my ice bath daily and am delighted with its quality and performance.
This setup is so perfect. I was using a cheaper tent pole style tub where I was freezing resusable ice packs and changing the water each time. Only able to get the water down to 9 or 10C in the summer, it was great in the winter, 1-3c water with a puck heater. But had to upgrade on the second summer around, I just can't go back to warmer water and longer prep time. Since getting the Ultra light barrel and chiller, I have set it up once and have used it 5 days straight with such ease. The tub has more space and is more sturdy than my past tub, which was great for the introduction, but now that I'm serious into plunging, there is no going back from the chiller. Saturday night my wife wanted to try the hot feature, and we converted the tub remotely while out around 3pm and it was 40C and ready to dip by time we got home in the evening. I then flipped it back over to cold for sunday plunge. Cold therapy has changed my life in the best way possible, I was so desperate for something to help my anxiety and reset my stress levels from working in IT engineering. People sometimes make fun of cold plunging or are afraid to try it, but please give it a shot if you have basically given up on everything else, it might be exactly what you need to jump start your life change. Things have started to go so well, at work, I've lost 45 lbs, joined Muay Thai with my son in November 2023, and have been training 3-5 times a week since June of this year. I feel I owe it all to ice baths and winning the small physical and psychological battle every day before you meet your day head on. Give it a chance you will not regret it.
