just took delivery?
Inspect everything before you sign. Damage has to be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 24 hours, with photos, and all packaging kept until the claim closes. Miss the window and the freight claim can be denied.
getting it to your door
We ship across Canada and the United States. Large units move by freight carrier, so delivery works differently than a parcel: here is exactly what happens and what you are responsible for.
where do you ship?
Across Canada and the United States. International shipping is available worldwide on request: email support@coldture.com and our team will quote it. International orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees and taxes including VAT, and those charges are the customer's responsibility.
how long until my order ships?
In-stock orders ship within 3 to 5 business days of being accepted. That is time to ship, not time to arrive: transit depends on your address and the size of the unit. You get a confirmation email at checkout and can track in real time from your account.
Some products are built to order. Indoor saunas run roughly 6 to 8 weeks and select red light systems run roughly 8 to 10 weeks. Lead times are listed on each product page.
what is the difference between curbside and white glove delivery?
Curbside is Canada only. Your product is delivered to the address on your order and placed at the driveway or another accessible ground-level spot.
White glove is available in Canada and the United States. The delivery team contacts you 24 to 72 hours ahead to book a date and time, then places the product on the ground floor, unboxes it and removes all packing materials.
is assembly included?
No. Assembly is not included in white glove delivery or in standard product pricing unless your order states otherwise. It is offered as a separate service on some products and in some regions, listed as its own item at checkout where available.
Electrical installation is never included in any product or assembly price.
do I need to be home for delivery?
Yes. Someone needs to accept the delivery and inspect the product. You also need to complete the Pre-Delivery Form before your delivery date; if it is not completed, responsibility falls to you.
If delivery cannot be completed because no one accepts it or the address or instructions were wrong, the product is treated as delivered, risk passes to you at the first attempt, and storage or re-delivery fees may apply.
what do I do if my product arrives damaged?
Inspect everything immediately on arrival. If you see damage to the packaging or product at the time of delivery:
- Note the damage in writing on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before you sign.
- Keep all packaging materials.
- Notify us in writing within 24 hours at support@coldture.com with photos.
Damage you could not see at delivery (concealed damage) still has to be reported in writing within 24 hours with photo evidence. For white glove deliveries the 24 hour window starts when installation is complete.
Photos should show the exterior packaging from all sides, any visible packaging damage, the damaged product, and the shipping label with tracking.
Do not discard packaging, repair, install or alter the product before you have written authorization from us. Missing documentation or discarded packaging can result in a denied freight claim.
source: shipping & return policy, eff. march 1 2026how much does shipping cost?
Calculated and shown at checkout based on your address and the products in your order. Some smaller items, including red light panels and masks, ship free and are marked as such on the product page.
can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Contact support@coldture.com as soon as possible and before the order ships. We cannot take responsibility for deliveries sent to an incorrect address supplied at checkout.
ordering, paying, changing your mind
Cancellations, returns, refunds and financing. If you are inside 24 hours of ordering, most things are still easy to change.
can I cancel my order?
Within 24 hours of placing your order, or any time before it ships (whichever comes first), you get a full refund of the purchase price and associated charges. After 24 hours, administrative fees apply. Once shipped, an order cannot be cancelled until delivery has occurred unless we approve it. Email support@coldture.com.
what is your return policy?
30 days from delivery. Returns for reasons other than confirmed shipping damage or a verified warranty defect are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee, and administrative fees may apply.
Restocking fees never apply to verified defective products.
If a product is defective, does not match your order, or does not comply with its warranty, submit notice within 15 days of receipt. Damage in transit still has to be reported within 24 hours.
who pays return shipping?
For eligible returns where the product is unused, unopened and in original condition, Coldture covers return shipping and may provide a prepaid label.
If you refuse a delivery for a reason unrelated to verified damage or defect, it is treated as a return and you cover outbound and return freight plus any administrative or restocking fees, deducted from your refund. If a delivery is refused because of visible damage or a confirmed defect, no shipping or restocking charges apply.
how long do refunds take?
Processed to the original payment method within 30 business days of our confirming the return has been received and inspected. For damage or defect claims we may request photos, video or a physical inspection, and we issue a decision within 90 days of receiving your notice.
do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing options are available at checkout. Current providers, rates and terms are shown on the product page and at checkout.
do I need to keep the original box?
Yes, for portable products. Chillers, portable units and red light devices need to go back in their original shipping box for any return or warranty shipment. If it is not available we can supply replacement packaging at your cost, and we may hold the return until proper packaging is in place. Lack of original packaging does not void your warranty, but it does affect return shipping.
what if the product I want is out of stock?
You can request a full refund or, at our discretion, an exchange. We list stock status, delays and pre-order timing on the product page as early as we can. Email support@coldture.com to be notified when something returns.
how do pre-orders work?
Pre-order products are reserved when you order and ship once the production run arrives. Your expected ship window is listed on the product page and confirmed in your order email. Pre-order cancellations follow the same 24 hour rule as standard orders.
Placeholder: confirm Pod Lite pre-order terms and ship window before this goes live.
is Coldture a Canadian company?
Yes. Coldture Wellness Inc. is based at 635 Oster Lane Unit 7, Concord, Ontario. Our support team is in-house, not outsourced, so when you call or email you are talking to the people who know the equipment.
cold plunges & chillers
Every Coldture plunge holds its temperature without ice, filters continuously and runs on a standard household outlet. The XTREME is rated for permanent outdoor installation down to -30°C, with built-in antifreeze protection and auto-defrost, so there is no seasonal draining.
how cold does a Coldture cold plunge get?
Depends on the model. The PRO Plunge and PRO Plunge Lite run 3 to 40°C (37 to 104°F). The XTREME Outdoor Cold Plunge runs 5 to 40°C (41 to 104°F). The PRO Water Chiller, used with a portable tub or bathtub adapter, runs 3 to 40°C.
Most people plunge between 3 and 10°C. You set the temperature and the unit holds it.
do I need to add ice?
No. Every Coldture system with a chiller holds your set temperature automatically.
Never add ice directly to an all-in-one unit while it is running. It can damage the system and it voids your warranty.
how long does it take to reach temperature?
The PRO Plunge cools at roughly 3 to 5°C per hour. The XTREME uses a 1.5 HP continuous-flow chiller and reaches target temperature up to 30 percent faster. Initial cooldown from room-temperature water takes a few hours, after which the unit simply maintains.
do I need an electrician?
Not for our all-in-one plunges or the PRO Water Chiller. The PRO Plunge runs on a standard 110V household outlet. The PRO Plunge Lite and XTREME run on a standard 115V outlet with a single plug. The PRO Water Chiller runs on a standard 110 to 120V outlet.
The XTREME DUAL Outdoor Contrast System needs either two separate 115V outlets or a single 220V 15A supply, and still requires no specialized electrical work.
We recommend a dedicated circuit so the unit is not competing with other appliances, and outdoor outlets should be GFCI protected to code.
can I keep my plunge outside?
Depends on the model, and this matters for your warranty.
The XTREME Outdoor Cold Plunge is built for permanent outdoor installation and rated to operate down to -30°C (-22°F), with built-in antifreeze protection and auto-defrost. No seasonal draining.
The PRO Plunge Lite is rated indoor or outdoor down to -10°C (14°F). The PRO Plunge is an indoor unit.
For any all-in-one other than the XTREME, outdoor operation is only permitted when ambient temperature is above -10°C and the chiller is powered and running continuously. If the chiller stops, the unit must not be left exposed to freezing. At -10°C or lower, move it indoors. Exposure below -10°C voids the warranty.
source: all-in-one residential warranty policyhow much water does it hold, and how often do I change it?
PRO Plunge holds 350 L, PRO Plunge Lite holds 400 L, XTREME holds approximately 430 to 455 L (113 to 120 gallons).
You do not need to drain daily. Continuous filtration and ozone sanitation keep water clean between changes, but water changes and correct chemistry are still required. Follow the schedule in your manual.
how often do I change the filter?
Every 30 days, using Coldture-authorized filters.
This is not a suggestion. A 20-micron filter is the only thing standing between fine debris and your chiller's internal components, and filters not changed every 30 days, or non-authorized filters, void your warranty.
ColdCare+ ships the correct filter for your model automatically every quarter, so the schedule takes care of itself.
source: all-in-one & portable units warranty policiesdo I need chemicals?
Yes. Ozone and mechanical filtration handle a lot, but they do not replace sanitizer and balanced water. Improper water chemistry can damage the chiller and is a warranty exclusion. Our Premium Chemical Starter Pack includes chlorine, oxidizer, alkalinity plus and test strips.
can I use the plunge as a hot tub?
Our plunges heat as well as chill, up to 40°C (104°F), which makes contrast therapy possible in a single unit. For true side-by-side hot and cold, the XTREME DUAL Outdoor Contrast System has dedicated hot and cold zones so there is no wait between rounds.
what size are the plunges, and will one fit through my door?
Measure doorways, stairwells and turns before you order. Key exterior dimensions:
- PRO Plunge: 195 × 73 × 80 cm
- PRO Plunge Lite: 179 × 75 × 75.5 cm
- XTREME Outdoor: 216 × 107 × 76 cm (85 × 42 × 30 in), interior 33.4 W × 54 L × 24.5 D in
- PRO Water Chiller: 61.5 × 33.4 × 48.2 cm
Full dimensions, shipping weights and drawings are on each product page. If you are unsure, book a consultation and we will walk through your space with you.
can I use the chiller with a tub I already own?
The PRO Water Chiller works with our portable tubs, our bundles, and standard bathtubs using the Bathtub Cold Plunge Adapter, which suits apartments, condos and smaller spaces. Connecting the chiller to a non-Coldture tub without our approval voids the chiller warranty, so check with us first.
what is the difference between a tub and an all-in-one?
A tub (BARREL, BARREL Ultra Lite, CLASSIC) is an insulated vessel. On its own it holds cold for hours and works with ice. Paired with the PRO Water Chiller it becomes a full temperature-controlled system with filtration.
An all-in-one (PRO Plunge, PRO Plunge Lite, XTREME) has the chiller, filtration, sanitation and controls built into one unit with a fixed footprint and a finished look. Tubs are the flexible, lower entry point. All-in-ones are the daily-use permanent setup.
indoor & outdoor saunas
Infrared, traditional and dual-heat, built with Canadian hemlock and western red cedar, non-toxic paint, no plywood. Outdoor models are cold-climate rated for permanent installation with Wi-Fi HUUM control.
what is the difference between infrared and traditional?
Traditional saunas heat the air with an electric or wood-burning heater and stones, running hot (up to 110°C / 230°F), with the option to pour water for steam. Infrared saunas heat your body directly with radiant panels at a lower air temperature (18 to 65°C / 65 to 150°F), which many people find easier to sit in for longer.
POD and POD Corner are infrared. PRO and XTREME Outdoor are traditional. The HYBRID Dual Heat runs both: a 6 kW traditional heater with stones plus 2,920W of infrared across 11 ultra-low-EMF carbon panels, used independently or together.
do I need an electrician?
For every sauna except the POD Infrared Sauna, yes.
- POD Infrared: 120V / 20A standard outlet, no permanent install
- POD Infrared Corner: 220V / 20A dedicated connection
- HYBRID Dual Heat: 240V / 40A, hardwired, no plug
- PRO Outdoor: 240V single phase, 25A full load, 30A two-pole breaker, 10 AWG copper, dedicated branch circuit
- XTREME Outdoor: 240V single phase, 37.5A full load, 50A two-pole breaker, 8 AWG copper, dedicated branch circuit
Electrical installation is not included in the price of any sauna and must be completed by a licensed electrician to local code. A heater not on a dedicated circuit to spec voids the warranty.
what surface does my sauna need to sit on?
A flat, solid, stable, level surface capable of carrying the full weight of the unit. Outdoor saunas are built for permanent installation and need a prepared base such as a concrete pad, a deck rated for the load, or a compacted gravel base. Installing on an unstable or uneven surface voids the warranty.
Permit requirements vary by municipality, so check with your local building department before installation.
how long does a sauna take to heat up?
Outdoor traditional saunas reach optimal temperature in 30 to 45 minutes depending on conditions. Wi-Fi control on the PRO and XTREME lets you start the heater remotely so it is ready when you are. Indoor infrared units warm faster and can be preheated from the Coldture app.
do your saunas include red light therapy?
The POD Infrared Sauna includes 4 red light panels (660 nm and 850 nm). The POD Infrared Corner Sauna includes 6 panels with 360° coverage. Red light built into a sauna is covered under the sauna warranty rather than the red light warranty.
how many people fit?
- POD Infrared Sauna: 1 to 2
- POD Infrared Corner Sauna: 2 to 3
- PRO Outdoor Sauna: 2 to 3
- HYBRID Dual Heat Sauna: 4 to 6
- XTREME Outdoor Sauna: 4 to 6
what are your saunas made of?
Indoor saunas use Canadian hemlock walls with red cedar benches, non-toxic paint, biodegradable adhesives and no plywood. Outdoor saunas use a powder-coated metal roof and siding with stainless steel bands, a western red cedar interior, a 10 mm bronze tempered glass door and double-pane side windows, all cold-climate rated for permanent outdoor installation.
how long does assembly take?
The POD Corner Sauna assembles in roughly 2 to 4 hours with two people and needs no permanent installation. Outdoor saunas arrive crated and require professional installation; crated shipping weight is approximately 1,500 lbs, so plan site access accordingly. Installation availability and pricing vary by location, and remote or island locations cost more.
how do I maintain a sauna?
Wipe down the interior after use and let it air out. Periodically inspect the heater and electrical connections. Use clean tap water only on the stones and do not over-drench them. Keep all objects at least 24 inches (60 cm) away from the heater.
Sauna stones and heating elements are consumable items and are not covered under warranty.
something is wrong with my HUUM heater. do I contact HUUM?
Contact Coldture first, always. We coordinate directly with HUUM or any third-party manufacturer on your behalf so nothing gets lost between parties. Start at the support form.
red light therapy & pemf
From a wearable face mask to a 2,304-LED lay-down system. Our panels are low-EMF and flicker-free, with per-wavelength brightness control and preset sessions.
which red light device is right for me?
- FACE Red Light Mask: face only, cordless, wearable, 72 quad-chip LEDs
- FOCUS Panel: targeted areas such as a knee, shoulder or lower back, 72 dual-chip LEDs
- PRO Panel: full body standing treatment, 720 dual-chip LEDs
- XTREME Panel: maximum output full body, 1,152 dual-chip LEDs
- BED Lay-Down System: full body from below, 1,152 dual-chip LEDs
- 360 Recovery System: BED plus XTREME, 2,304 LEDs from above and below, synced from one touchscreen
how long is a session, and how far away do I stand?
Our panels have preset sessions of 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes. Effective treatment distance is 6 to 12 inches. The FACE mask defaults to 10 minutes with a 40 minute maximum. Most people run 10 to 20 minutes per area, daily or several times a week.
what wavelengths do your panels use?
The FOCUS and PRO panels deliver 630, 650, 660 and 670 nm red, 810, 830 and 850 nm near infrared, and 1060 nm deep tissue. The XTREME panel and the BED add 480 nm blue and 590 nm yellow. The FACE mask uses 460 nm blue, 665 nm red, 850 nm near infrared and 1064 nm.
what outlet do the panels need?
All panels run on 100 to 240V AC at 50/60 Hz. The PRO panel draws 15A at 110V; the XTREME panel and the BED each draw 16A at 110V, so each needs its own dedicated circuit.
If you are running the 360 Recovery System, the BED and the XTREME panel must be on separate circuits.
are they low EMF?
Yes. Our panels are low-EMF and flicker-free. The BED measures 0 V/m electric field and 0.6 mG magnetic field.
do I need eye protection?
Goggles are included with the XTREME panel and the BED, and we recommend using them. Do not stare directly into the LEDs.
are your devices certified?
The PRO and FOCUS panels are FDA cleared and Health Canada approved, and are medical grade.
can I use red light therapy in a commercial space?
Some of our red light devices are approved for commercial environments and are covered under a separate or extended commercial warranty where applicable. Warranty terms differ between residential and commercial use, so contact support@coldture.com before purchasing for a gym, clinic, studio or hotel and we will confirm coverage in writing.
what is a PEMF mat and how is it different from red light?
Our Full-Body 18 Coils PEMF Mat (74 × 31 in) uses pulsed electromagnetic fields across 18 coils for full-body application, where red light uses specific wavelengths of light. The two are complementary and often used in the same recovery routine.
Placeholder: this answer routes to support because the mat's settings, power draw and materials are not published anywhere. Publishing them turns this into a real answer.
how long do the LEDs last?
Rated for 50,000 hours of use.

Report defects as soon as you find them, take reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and provide safe access for inspection or repair. Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser.
is my warranty transferable if I sell my unit?
No. Coverage is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser, unless the product was bought through an authorized reseller.
are your manuals the official instructions?
Yes. Coldture manuals, guides and videos are the primary and authoritative source of product instructions and should always be followed. Where specialized work is involved, such as electrical installation, you will also need a qualified licensed professional.
not sure which one fits your space?
Fifteen minutes with someone who installs these for a living beats an hour of scrolling.
